A fundraising scheme for participants
in the Niall Mellon Blitz 2010.
What are the incentives for 2010 volunteers to get involved in this scheme?
The more 2010 volunteers who contribute €100 or £100 sterling, the more attractive the central
PRIZE FUND will be for the public buying tickets.
The volunteers keep all the value of their individual money generated from their own tickets
sales to credit or fund their fees for the Niall Mellon Blitz 2010.
There are incentives for the public to buy extra tickets and increase their chances of
winning ie the member of the public who spends €/£50 will get 8 tickets.
The scheme provides an opportunity for business sponsors to provide high value bonus prizes
and get the opportunity of recognition and endorsement in the Scheme website and on the
printed tickets themselves and the draw advertisement literature.
A privately donated prize of €500.00 will be raffled among the participants who have returned
their €100.00 participation fee.  This raffle will ONLY happen if we reach our target of 200
participants.
Due to unforeseen circumstances and the fact that the quota for participants in the FUNDRAISING
DRAW was not reached, the organisers have decided to cancel the draw for this year.
Frank Ryan (087 2574 239) will contact all people who have submitted application forms and
cheques to arrange for the return of cheques.
